Priced at $699, the Targo includes the chassis, stroller seat, bassinet attachment, universal infant seat adapter, and a free gift- Diapees & Wipees. It is so new, we are just getting it up on our website but check out the great video that the distributor made on our website. It shows the great features- our favorite is the reversible seat that actually also adjusts in height so you can raise up the seat and pull the stroller right up to a table in a restaurant for your baby.
The I’coo Targo comes from the great guys at Grand Touring Baby who have also brought us the ever popular Rock Star Baby Stroller. The Targo takes the great features of the RSB stroller and take it a notch up.
We are currently taking preorders for the I’coo Targo which is available in three colors: Mocha, Marine and Houndstooth. Word is the first container is selling fast so we suggest placing an order sooner than later if this is the one you want! We are really excited and can’t wait for it to arrive!

When it says “includes bassinet attachment”, does that mean the bassint must be purchased separately, or does the stroller seat convert to a bassinet? Hi Carrie- Sorry if my description was confusing. The bassinet is its own piece (separate from the seat itself) but it is included with the package at $699. Hope that helps- Erika

What is the weight limit of this stroller? Hi Leanne- The weight limit for the Targo right now is 40 lbs. They will be testing it for 45 lbs. but for now it is 40 lbs. Hope that helps- Erika

Hi there- The I’coo Targo is not the same as the Rock Star Baby Stroller- they both come from the same distributor but they are different strollers. The RSB stroller is actually being phased out. The I’coo Targo is expected to debut here in the U.S. the second/third week of February. You can buy it right here at www.strollermama.com. Hope that helps- Erika

Hi, I was wondering if the Icoo targo fabric is washable and if they come with a raincover. Also if they will come out with more neutral colors like all black etc. Hi there- I actually do not know if fabric is machine washable. I will need to find that out from the distributor. Hi So, when does Targo arrive? Can you tell me how it compares with the new SKATE? I’m hoping it has the same functions but less weight. I have a compact car and am looking for ease of use as well as being able to turn baby either direction and raie the height. Thank you!
Hi Alexis- This question has been asked to me before and, unfortunately, I don’t have an answer for you since we don’t sell Peg and I haven’t had any hands on experience with the Skate. All I’ve heard through the grapevine about the Skate is that it is super heavy. The Targo does have a reversible seat and you can raise and lower it (and the bassinet, too). The weight according to the distributor is 22 lbs. We loved it when we saw it in September. The most updated ship date is February 21st. Hope that helps- Erika

Is 22 lbs the seat + frame? Or is the frame 22 lbs itself?

Hi there!! I love the look of this stroller and can’t wait to get my hands on it! When you say it ships on February 21st, does that mean it leaves your doors on that day to get to your customers, or does it arrive to you on Feb 21? Did you see all the colors? Which one did you think looked the nicest?
Hi Jackie- Thanks for your post! We are excited to get it, too! As of Thursday, the manufacturer said they will be shipping the stroller out from their warehouse on 2/21. We did see all three colors at the ABC Expo in September. I really loved the Mocha but the guys distributing the stroller told us they got the most feedback on the Houndstooth! Hello! About a year and a half ago I found an amazing stroller online. It looked like a traditional pram, with four pneumatic tires that you could pick the design of, and had a rotating seat. At the time, I found it only online, and it was brand new from an Italian (I think) manufacturer. It wasn’t the Orbit stoller. Have you heard of it? I love the look and functionality of the I’coo Targo (the video is very helpful). What are your views on the ease of folding, weight, maneuverability on city streets and comfort (for baby and mom) of the Mac Quest v. the I’coo? I’m looking to replace the infant seat/snug ride frame with a “real” stroller now that my baby is 7 mos old (but on the small side — 15 pounds) and more interested in looking around. Thanks!
Hi Jen- Thanks for your post. While I love both the Targo and Mac Quest, I think they are like apples and oranges. I have the Cameleon (similar to the Targo) and the Quest and use them both for different outings. I think my daughter (15 months old) is most comfortable in her Bugaboo. The seat is more generous and nice and high and she loves hanging on to her napper bar. I also use a Carry You Piccolo Snack Tray with the Cameleon so she can keep toys and snacks in there within her own reach. It is definitely her preferred ride. Sometimes it is more of a hassle for me- the two part fold and it takes up more room in my way back but once I have it opened, I love pushing it! I think the Targo will be very similar.
That being said, I also love my Mac Quest (I have the I Love You Lulu version!). It is super lightweight and folds up very small. I think my daughter is a little spoiled riding in her bigger stroller all of the time so she doesn’t like her Mac as much but I still use it alot- especially when I need to run quick errands. I keep both in my minivan. I’m not sure if that is helpful or not! Let me know if you have more questions. Thanks- Erika

Does the I’Coo Targo have a travel bag for transporting the stroller? Also, how high does the adjustable seat go up to? I’m deciding between the Uppababy Vista and I’Coo Targo. What are the seat width for each and how do the fabrics compare (in texture and quality, not so much color). I love the Vista for it’s upright fold but the height adjustable seat is what I was looking for as well. Since I can’t see either products in person, your feedback is invaluable to my questions above and your overall impressions of the two strollers as compared with each other. Thanks! Mimi
Hi Mimi- I finally had a chance to get on my hands and knees with a tape measure at the store and here is what I came up with:
Seat width Targo: 11 inches
Seat width Vista: 11.5 inches
Seat height in highest position Targo: 23 inches from bottom of seat to the ground
Seat height in highest position Vista: 22 inches from bottom of seat to ground
The fabric on both strollers is both nice. I would not say one was nicer than the other. Also, we have yet to find out if the Targo fits in a travel bag. As soon as we find out, we’ll let you know. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks, Mimi. Erika

I’ve had mine for the last week or so (Toronto, Canada) One word - Fantastic. Easiest fold out there, superlight, the bearings make the handling a breeze. Can’t say enough positive things. Only negative is if you were very tall, the handles may not be high enough.

I received my Targo last night. I absolutely love it! I chose the houndstooth and it’s beautiful. While I haven’t fully put it to the test yet (my due date is still a few weeks away) I am pleased with how smoothly it rides, how easy it is to operate, and just love the height adjustment for the seat and handle bars. The only drawback for me is the basket isn’t that big, but it’s got all the other important features to me that many of the other similar strollers didn’t.
Susie - did you fold the handle bar all the way up? It does go higher than you think because I’m pretty tall too.

Hi…I was wondering if the Icoo targo has a cup holder. Also, is the cushion soft and comfortable for the baby? When looking at the Skate today, I felt like you could feel some “hardness” behind the cushion and wasn’t pleased with that. Do you seem to have plenty still in stock (I’m interested in the Mocho)? And how long does it take to ship and recieve a stroller when ordered? Thanks!
Hi Brandi- Thanks for your post. There are two cup holder options that we have that work with the Targo. First, you could get a Valco Universal Cup Holder. Second, you could get the Carry You Demi Milan. The seat on the Targo is very plush and comfortable and I don’t feel any “hardness” behind the cushion. I think is well padded and very comfortable for a child. Unfortunately, our first shipment of Mocha Targos is actually sold out right now. They went fast! We have a few Targos left from our first shipment in Marine and Houndstooth but should have Mochas shipping out again by mid-April. Hope that helps- Erika

We just got our Targo from StrollerMama and took the stroller out today with the car seat attached.. it’s great. It turns on a dime, you can push it one handed, and really seems to handle the cracks and bumps of the city sidewalks with ease. Our baby fell asleep instantly! Sarah

Hi All!
I’m looking for a stroller similar to the Targo that doesn’t include the bassinet. I love the overall look (other than no basic black colour!) as well as the EVA tires. The idea of the seat lowering & raising is a fabulous invention!
Also, is this really as light weight as it sounds?

Hi Bronwynn- The Targo weight really seems to be what they say it is (I haven’t actually weighed it myself but it feels very light for a full service stroller). The Targo doesn’t actually come with a separate bassinet (like the RSB). It is similar to the Bugaboo where it comes with one seat frame and the fabrics to make it into a bassinet or seat. There are plans to offer it in all black possibly at the end of 2008. Hope that helps- Erika

Hi, this targo stroller is of real interest to me, but one thing that bothers me is the look and quality of the wheels. Aren’t pumped wheels smoother? Aren’t the targo wheels too plasticy and junky looking? Can anyone that tried this stroller reply if the wheels aren’t too wobbly?

Hi! I’ve had my targo for almost two weeks now, love it, can’t say enough about it. Great design, easy to fold, easy to lift up into the trunk too. Fabric is high quality, the wheels are too, they’re solid rubber and don’t look cheap in person. It looks like a very expensive stroller, I even had one lady pull her car over to ask me what kind of stroller it was and where could she get one. It’s a great choice if you have a large baby like I do, the seat is a good size. Oh, and some people have mentioned they thought the handlebar wasn’t high enough, but I’m tall and usually in heels and it felt comfortable to me.

I’m interested in the Targo but I’m concerned about the size, how does it compare to the Uppa Baby Vista? The Vista looked great online but when seen in person it was humongous, the Hummer of strollers if you will.
Hi there- The footprint of the I’coo Targo is definitely smaller than the Uppa Baby Vista. It is a very reasonable size and it is closer in size to the Bugaboo Cameleon. Hope that helps- Erika

A couple of weeks ago, at eight months pregnant, I chased a lady down the street to find out what stroller she was pushing and well, it was an I’coo Targo. I loved the look of it, I ended up purchasing the Mocha color. It was hard to find in stores, most retailers said they sold out pretty quickly, I know strollermama was out of the Mocha a little while ago too. Anyway, it’s a great choice if you’re looking for a bugaboo alternative, in fact, the seat is much larger and has more padding. It moves easily, folds great, no complaints from me at all. I don’t think the wheels look cheap either. It looks pretty stylish if you ask me.

You are right about the Mocha- ours were pretty much sold out before they were even in stock! We have more on order and should have some when the next shipment comes in from the distributor. What carseats work with the Icoo and Bugaboo strollers? I am debating between the two strollers, but still need to register for a carseat on my baby registry. Also, I hear the Bugaboo is bulky and takes up a lot of space in the trunk. Is that the same for the Icoo? Which is easier for folding/unfolding? Thanks!
Hi Brandi- The Bugaboo Cameleon/Frog can take the Graco, Peg or Maxi Cosi infant seats and the Bee can take the Graco infant seat (adapter bar is a separate accessory). The I’coo Targo comes with a universal adapter that works with almost all U.S. infant seats. The Targo is easier to fold and it has the advantage of folding with the seat on (facing forward) whereas you always need to take the seat off of the Bugaboo to fold it (which makes for more bulk in the trunk). If I had to pick between the two, it would be a tough choice! Erika

Hi, I’m due the first week of July and I am now trying to decide between the Cameleon, the Targo and the Quinny Buzz. Which one would you recommend the most (i.e., would buy for yourself? Why? Thanks!
Hi Chris- All three strollers are great so it really comes down to your personal preference. I use the Bugaboo Cameleon and I really love it. My daughter is now 16 months and it is her favorite ride. I do think taking the seat off to fold it can be a pain sometimes and it takes up more room in the back of my minivan broken down like that. But, I often quickly forget that once I’m out strolling with it because it pushes like a dream and my daughter is a happy rider. I also like that you can change the fabric colors- I started with orange/gray, switched to pink/gray and now I am all denim!
The Buzz is nice and folds with the seat on (facing foward) but it is a bit heavier than the Cameleon and the seat and canopy are smaller. It also does not take a ride on board which I use with the Cameleon with my four year old. The colors are fun and the Dreami bassinet is one of the nicest on the market.
The Targo has some wonderful features. It raises up and down which is a feature I long for on my Bug. The canopy is generous and the seat is plush and comfortable. You can also fold it with the seat on (facing forward). The only thing I personally don’t love about the Targo are the colors but that is just my style!
You won’t go wrong with any of the three. I would definitely suggest trying to find them locally to test drive to see which one is the best fit for you. Then, check back with us with more questions! Best of luck! Erika

I have been closely following your comments on the Targo — thank you for being so thorough! We saw it in person a few weeks ago and loved how smooth it rode, and how compact it is. One concern was with the canopy — it seems you have to compress buttons on either side to fold it up — is this correct? Also, any complaints about durability so far? It is so light, with so many bells and whistles, I’m wondering how well it will hold up over time (with typical urban use). We are deciding between this, the Frog, and the UB Vista now that it has a narrower wheelbase — any pros/cons to keep in mind? Thanks again — your input is appreciated!
Hi Sandy- Thanks for your post. So far, we have gotten great feedback about the Targo. I agree with you that it pushes very smoothly and does have alot of bells and whistles. My favorite feature is the ability to raise and lower the seat! Only time will tell how it will hold up but it’s predecessor, the Rock Star Baby Stroller, held up quite well and it was manufactured/distributed by the same company, Grand Touring Baby. They also have terrific customer service so I feel good about that.
Pros of the Vista are that you have a completely separate bassinet (where the Targo and the Bugaboo both have one seat frame that you configure to a seat or bassinet). Cons of the Vista is that it is still a pretty big stroller. Pros of the Bugaboo are the push and the colors. Cons of the Bugaboo is that you need to always take the seat off to fold and cost.
All three are great strollers- you just need to decide which features are the most important to you and go from there. Good luck! Erika

How does the Targo universal adapter work with car seats? Do you snap the car seat into the adapter or is the car seat strapped onto the adatper? Also, is there a website in which I can see how the adapter works?
Hi Andrea- The universal infant seat adapter for the Targo works more like a cradle with a seat belt strap. It is just as safe as an adapter where the seat snaps in- just make sure the strap is nice and snug. Unfortunately, the video does not show the adapter bar in use so I can’t help you with that one. Hi there- I’m sorry if that was confusing. The Targo is similar to the Bugaboo in that it comes with all you need in the box to configure either a seat or a bassinet. The RSB stroller had a completely separate bassinet and seat. The Targo basically has one seat frame that needs to be configured to be the bassinet or seat. Hope that helps- Erika
